Irénée Bergé: Western Scene – Piano Solo Edition

An Allegro molto for solo piano ("piano accompaniment", an excerpt from his (!) orchestral score of the same name) by the French composer Irénée Bergé (1867– 1926). In this context, molto means very fast—that is, faster than a 'normal' Allegro. The composer himself intended it to accompany silent motion pictures, and specifically for "animated Crowd Scenes, Fast Riding and Chasing, Cowboy gatherings, etc."

So it is perfect for adventurous, thrilling, and fast-paced scenes, and not just those set in the Wild West; no horses required!
