The following version of the famous hymn by John Bacchus Dykes (1823–1876) can be found in Haviland’s Moving Picture Pianist’s Album (1911). It was arranged (and abridged) by Eugene Platzman and included under the heading "Sacred Melodies." While Haviland’s Photoplay Album is described as being "brilliantly yet simply arranged for piano," we have chosen to use a church organ to highlight the piece’s function as background music for religious scenes in films (and for YouTube or Instagram Reels 😉).
